Temitope Osoba's Burial Plans Announced for August 2026

The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has announced her burial plans, set for Thursday, August 13, 2026, in her hometown of Iperu Remo, Ogun State. The funeral service will occur at Saint James Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by her interment at the Iperu Remo Cemetery.

Mourners are requested to wear white attire. In remembrance of Osoba, friends and colleagues have organized a candlelight procession and artists' night titled “An Evening of Love, Music & Memories,” scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at LTV 8 (Blueroof), Ikeja, Lagos, starting at 5:00 p.m.

This event aims to celebrate her life and contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry. Osoba's death was announced by fellow actor Alesh Sanni, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss.

Osoba had previously battled cancer and returned to acting in August 2025, advocating for cancer awareness and support for others facing similar challenges.
