Super Eagles' Akor Adams Leaves Camp Due to Family Emergency

Akor Adams, a striker for the Super Eagles, departed the national team camp following Nigeria's impressive 4-0 win against Mozambique in the Africa Cup of Nations. Adams was granted permission to attend to his mother, who was hospitalized.

Despite the family emergency, Adams started the match and even scored the fourth goal. It remains uncertain if he will return in time for Nigeria's quarter-final fixture.

The Super Eagles are set to face either DR Congo or Algeria in the next round of the tournament.
