Dr. Carl Onunkwo Celebrates Daughter's Medical Graduation

On June 23, 2026, Dr. Carl Onunkwo celebrated the graduation of his daughter, Dr. Lauren Chisom Onunkwo, from medical school at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba. The graduation ceremony took place in the Old Great Hall of the hospital, attended by family, friends, and community leaders from Osina.

Dr. Onunkwo expressed gratitude to God for enabling his children to achieve their dreams, noting that his family now includes three doctors and three pharmacists. His wife, Pharm.

Celin Onunkwo, is the first pharmacist from Osina and currently serves as the Director of the National Coordinating Supply Chain Management Program. The event featured a grand reception and was marked by a sense of community pride in the family's accomplishments, which are seen as a significant achievement for the Osina community.

Chief Matthia Nwanedo Onyemaraihegeshokwu, a former chairman of the Osina Town Union, also attended the ceremony.
