Family of Late Shell Engineer Demands $100M Over Medical Negligence

The family of late engineer Sonam Obhuo has demanded $100 million in compensation from Shell Petroleum over alleged medical negligence that resulted in his death in 2011. The family, represented by solicitor Ebun Olu Adegboruwa, accuses Shell of gross failure in duty of care at their hospital in Port Harcourt.

They claim errors by medical personnel directly caused Obhuo's death and allege a cover-up to conceal possible criminal liability. Legal actions have been initiated to seek justice.
