Mother of Three Seeks N40m for Kidney Transplant

Omolade Bolaji, a 41-year-old caterer and mother of three from Ikorodu, Lagos State, is facing kidney failure and urgently needs N40 million for a transplant, which doctors have deemed her only hope. Her health issues began in 2025 with persistent headaches, leading to multiple misdiagnoses of typhoid across five hospitals.

It was only after consulting a hospital in Ayobo that her kidney problem and high blood pressure were identified. Bolaji has been undergoing dialysis since July 2025 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, where her health has deteriorated significantly, with a creatinine level of 14.2 mg/dl and a haemoglobin level of 6.1 g/dl.

Recently, she fainted and was unconscious for four days. The family has raised approximately N1.5 million but struggles with the high costs of dialysis and medications.

In a heartfelt video appeal, Bolaji urged Nigerians for financial assistance, emphasizing her need to care for her young children.
