Momodu Critiques Fani-Kayode's Political Aspirations

Dele Momodu, a veteran journalist and former presidential candidate, launched a scathing attack on Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation. Momodu expressed concerns about Fani-Kayode's suitability for public office, citing his controversial behavior and history of unnecessary conflicts.

He recalled his long-standing familiarity with Fani-Kayode, noting that despite his privileged upbringing and elite education, Fani-Kayode's conduct remains problematic. Momodu criticized reports suggesting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is considering appointing Fani-Kayode to a diplomatic role, warning that such an appointment would be controversial due to Fani-Kayode's public persona.

He mentioned that Fani-Kayode has been exploring alternative political alignments, including reaching out to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Momodu urged Fani-Kayode to change his approach to public office, emphasizing the need for discipline and restraint.

In response, Reno Omokri dismissed both Momodu and Fani-Kayode as lacking credibility.
