Father Of Suspected Kidnapper Killed In Kwara

Alhaji Doti, the father of a suspected kidnapper, was shot dead in a confrontation with a vigilante group in Kwara State. The incident occurred in Iyana Share, Ifelodun local government area, as the vigilantes attempted to arrest his son, Bello Doti, for kidnapping.

Alhaji Doti reportedly attacked the vigilantes with a machete in an attempt to save his son, resulting in a fatal confrontation. The Kwara State Police Command confirmed the incident, stating that the deceased vigilante member was shot during the confrontation.

Bello Doti managed to escape and is currently at large, prompting the police to intensify their manhunt. The public has been urged to cooperate with the authorities and provide any information that could assist in the ongoing operation.
