FBNQuest Merchant Bank Rebranded as Quest Merchant Bank Limited After Acquisition

FBNQuest Merchant Bank has officially changed its name to Quest Merchant Bank Limited after the acquisition of its entire equity stake by EverQuest Acquisition LLP in 2024. The rebranding was announced by FBN Holdings Plc, the parent company.

The name change does not affect the bank's legal status or operations, as Quest Merchant Bank Limited remains duly licensed as a merchant bank under the regulatory oversight of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Afolabi Olorode, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, emphasized that the new name signifies a pivotal milestone in the bank's history and strategic direction towards sustained growth.

Existing contracts, client relationships, and obligations of the bank remain valid and enforceable post-name change.
