New Leadership Appointed at FCET Umunze, Anambra

The Eighth Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze, Anambra State, has approved the appointment of Dr. Virginia Nony Ejezi as the new Provost.

Joachim Eze has been appointed as Registrar, and Philip Oguegbulu as Bursar. These appointments were made following a rigorous screening and interview process conducted by the council, led by Dr.

Gani Azeez, with letters of appointment issued on May 7, 2026. Dr.

Ejezi, who joined the college in 1992, has held various positions including Chief Lecturer, Dean of the School of Science, and Director of Academic Planning. She has extensive administrative experience and has served on numerous committees.

Joachim Eze has been with the college since 1996 and has risen through the ranks to Deputy Registrar. Philip Oguegbulu has served as Deputy Bursar since 2003.

The new leadership has generated excitement among staff, who are optimistic about the college's future.
