FCMB Supports Youth Leadership Summit for 1,000 Nigerians

The First City Monument Bank (FCMB) supported and participated in ‘The Peak Performer Emerging Leaders’ Summit 2026, held on August 19 at Solution Arena in Lagos. The summit convened 1,000 National Youth Service Corps members for practical sessions focused on employment, entrepreneurship, financial management, and leadership.

Organized by The Peak Performer Africa and led by Dr. Abiola Salami, the summit's theme was “I Move with G.R.I.T. – From Potential to Performance.” Participants explored five pathways: Get Hired, Get Digital, Get Financially Strong, Build Something, and Create Impact. The sessions covered topics such as workplace expectations, artificial intelligence, personal finance, and responsible leadership.

Olajire Awofisibe, Group Head of Retail Asset Products at FCMB, participated in discussions about workplace readiness and served as a faculty member in the Get Financially Strong laboratory, emphasizing the importance of budgeting, saving, and responsible borrowing for young graduates transitioning into the workforce.
