10,000 Youths to Attend Lagos Leadership Summit

More than 10,000 young people from across Africa are expected to attend the 2026 Ambassadors National Youth Summit in Lagos on August 29, organized by the Joshua Oyeniyi International Foundation. The summit, themed “Role of Emerging Leaders in Securing Nigeria’s Economic Prosperity,” will take place at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.

It is convened by Dr. Joshua Oyeniyi, the founder and President of the JOI Foundation, with industrialist and philanthropist Kesington Adebutu, known as Baba Ijebu, expected to participate. The event aims to bridge the gap between young people and institutions shaping economic and political directions.

It will feature plenary sessions, policy discussions, and networking opportunities, allowing young delegates to engage with established leaders on critical issues such as economy, security, and innovation. The summit emphasizes the importance of positioning youth as active participants in shaping government policies rather than mere beneficiaries.
