FCSC to Conduct CBT for Shortlisted Candidates Soon

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), chaired by Prof. Tunji Olaopa, announced plans to conduct a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for shortlisted candidates in the recruitment process.

In a statement made over the weekend, Olaopa sought to dispel online comments that claimed the CBT would be jettisoned, labeling such remarks as frivolous and unfounded. He emphasized that measures are in place to ensure the CBT is conducted effectively, contingent upon the availability of adequate resources.

The CBT will serve as a qualifying assessment for candidates in science, technical, and vocational subjects, particularly in mathematics and engineering, as requested by the Federal Ministry of Education to address the urgent need for teachers in federal unity schools. Olaopa urged shortlisted candidates to remain calm and await official communication from the commission regarding the recruitment process.
