APGA Confident of Victory in FCT Council Elections

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is optimistic about its chances in the upcoming Federal Capital Territory (FCT) council elections set for Saturday. Ibrahim Mani, the National Secretary of APGA, spoke at a press conference, highlighting the party's plans to ensure victory and promote good governance.

He emphasized that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is expected to conduct free and fair elections, which will serve as a test case for the major elections in 2027. Mani urged residents to ignore threats from traditional rulers regarding voting for specific parties, asserting that political impunity will no longer be tolerated.

Dr. Ez Onyebuchi Chukwu, the chairmanship candidate for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), outlined his development plans, including skill acquisition, free education, and healthcare improvements.

He called for full participation in the elections, aiming to transform AMAC into a model city reflecting its unique position as Nigeria's capital.
