APC Chairman Usman Confident of Voter Support in FCT

Abdulmalik Usman, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), stated that voters are ready to support the APC in the upcoming area council elections scheduled for February 21, 2026. Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Usman emphasized that the election will reflect a shift in sentiment driven by the impact of the 2022 voter recognition and ongoing developmental projects led by the APC government.

He asserted that voters are focused on the performance of the government and that political appeals from figures like Peter Obi will no longer influence electoral outcomes in the FCT. Usman commended President Bola Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for their visible infrastructural progress across the FCT, which he believes has tangibly improved communities.

He urged residents to support the APC in the elections, emphasizing the party's commitment to renewing hope and delivering projects that benefit the populace.
