PDP Urges INEC to Announce Kuje Election Results Now

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to promptly announce the results from Kuje Central and Kabi Ward. This request follows delays in announcing the chairmanship results due to technical challenges that affected the wards.

Abubakar Dambo, the supervisor for the Kuje area council elections, reported that the results from these two wards were pending because the collated results were mistakenly sent to the wrong location. Ini Ememobong, the PDP's national publicity secretary, expressed concerns regarding the delays, emphasizing that they raise apprehensions about the margin of lead and potential manipulation.

The PDP has urged INEC's chairman to ensure that the announced results reflect the true votes of the people, warning that any deviation would invalidate the entire electoral process and undermine the sanctity of the ballot.
