PDP Youths Demand Punishment for Wike Over Alleged Election Interference

PDP Youth group affiliated with the opposition party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, of openly supporting a candidate in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) chairmanship election. The group, North Central PDP Youths Frontier, called for Wike's punishment, alleging his actions undermine party discipline and unity.

They urged the PDP national leadership to investigate and sanction Wike for allegedly aligning with an APC chieftain and going against party interests. The group reaffirmed their support for the PDP candidate in the AMAC election and vowed to mobilize peacefully for the party.
