Kuje LGA Chair Congratulates Sabo on Gold Medal Win

Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, the executive chairman of Kuje area council, congratulated Mr.

Rilwan Idris Sabo on his historic achievement at the 2026 Commonwealth Games para powerlifting competition held in Glasgow, Scotland. Mr.

Sabo won Nigeria's first gold medal in the men’s heavyweight para powerlifting event by lifting an impressive 208 kilograms. Hon.

Shekwolo described this victory as not only a personal milestone for Mr. Sabo but also a moment of pride for the Kuje area council, the Federal Capital Territory, and Nigeria as a whole.
