FCT Minister Wike Gives Abuja Land Defaulters 14-Day Ultimatum to Pay ₦5m or Risk Losing Properties

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has issued a 14-day ultimatum to property owners in Abuja who have violated land use terms to pay a fine of ₦5 million or face the risk of losing their properties. The affected properties are located in key areas such as Asokoro, Maitama, Garki, and Wuse District.

Wike's grace period began on November 11, 2025, and applies to those who have not settled related fees for regular land use approvals. Failure to comply within the stipulated 14-day grace period will result in enforcement actions by the FCT Administration.
