Nyesom Wike Issues Ultimatum to FCT Property Owners for Land Use Violations

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has given property owners in various locations across the Federal Capital Territory a 14-day ultimatum to comply with approved land use provisions or face penalties. The ultimatum targets property owners in areas like Asokoro, Maitama, Garki, and Wuse District, with a penalty of N5 million for violations.

The FCT Administration had earlier given a 30-day deadline for payment of fines, but a final grace period of 14 days has been granted. The directive aims to regularize land use and issue new title documents to compliant property owners.
