FCT Minister Wike Revokes 1,000 Abuja Properties Over Unpaid Charges

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has ordered the enforcement action on over 1,000 properties in Abuja whose owners have failed to settle mandatory land charges. The decision impacts 1,095 titles spread across major districts like Asokoro, Maitama, Garki, and Wuse.

The owners ignored repeated notices to clear outstanding fees, prompting the enforcement action. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) confirmed the development, emphasizing the need for property owners to comply with financial obligations.

Despite warnings and public notices, the affected properties face revocation due to non-compliance with statutory charges and obligations.
