The revocation was due to the failure of individuals, organizations, and government bodies to settle various land-related charges.

Notable names affected include Patience Jonathan, Abdullahi Ganduje, Sule Lamido, Donald Duke, Ayo Fayose, Iyiola Omisore, and David Mark. The action was taken after a 14-day grace period expired, with defaulters facing penalties for non-compliance with statutory obligations.

The move is part of efforts to restore order in Abuja's land administration system.
