Wike Thanks Bwari Residents, Pledges Project Completion

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, expressed gratitude to the residents of Bwari for their support during the February 21 area council elections. He described the election outcome as fulfilling commitments made by President Bola Tinubu.

During a visit to Bwari on Tuesday, Wike praised the electoral turnout and the support shown by voters, stressing the importance of honoring promises made to the community. He assured residents that major infrastructure projects, including the completion of the Bwari-Kubwa road, would be finished within the year.

Wike cautioned against misleading political tactics from the opposition and urged residents to remain steadfast in their support for the leadership. Joshua Ishaku, the elected chairman of Bwari area council, also expressed appreciation for Wike's support and pledged to continue backing the administration in future elections, including the 2027 elections.

The All Progressives Congress won five out of six chairmanship seats in the Federal Capital Territory elections.
