FCTA Orders Immediate Resumption and Attendance Registers After Court Ruling

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has ordered the immediate resumption of work and mandated the use of attendance registers following a court ruling that suspended an ongoing strike by the Joint Union Action Committee (JUAC). Nanci Sabanti Nathan, the Head of Civil Service for FCTA, issued a directive for the enforcement of attendance registers across FCT departments.

The ruling by Justice D. Subilim of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria granted an interlocutory injunction restraining JUAC members from continuing the strike.

Nathan emphasized full compliance with the court order, instructing staff to return to their duties promptly. The circular issued by Nathan aims to restore administrative order and ensure compliance with the court's decision.
