FCTA Workers Resume Duties in Nigeria After Court Halts Strike

FCTA workers have returned to work after a court order from the National Industrial Court of Nigeria suspended their ongoing strike. The court directed the Joint Union Action Committee (JUAC) to immediately suspend the strike and resume negotiations.

The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, instructed workers to comply with the court order and return to their duties. The Head of Civil Service in FCT, Nancy Sabanti, issued a circular mandating all secretariats, departments, and agencies to reopen and monitor attendance strictly.

The FCTA reaffirmed its commitment to addressing worker concerns through established procedures. Several FCTA offices and affiliated agencies have reported workers resuming their routine assignments.
