FCTA and Saudi Arabia Discuss Security and Economy

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) of Nigeria is currently engaged in talks with Saudi Arabia focusing on security and economic cooperation, particularly in the area of green city development. This dialogue follows a visit by Yousef bin Moham Al Balawi, the Saudi Arabian envoy to Nigeria, to Abuja on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Al Balawi praised Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for the efforts of President Bola Tinubu's administration in enhancing the beauty and sustainability of Abuja. Wike expressed optimism about the potential for strengthening the relationship between the FCTA and Riyadh, noting the historical ties between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

He indicated plans to visit Riyadh to explore areas of mutual interest for collaboration. Wike commended the ongoing transformation of Abuja under Tinubu's administration, aiming to position the capital city as a modern and competitive global city.
