Saudi Arabia Pursues Green City Partnership with FCT

On Tuesday, during a visit to Abuja, Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef bin Moham Al Balawi, expressed the Kingdom's interest in partnering with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to develop a green city, improve security, and enhance the economy. Al Balawi commended FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and President Bola Tinubu's administration for their efforts in building a beautiful green city.

He emphasized the importance of strengthening the relationship between the FCT and Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, noting the robust historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. Wike acknowledged the potential for leveraging this relationship for mutual benefit and expressed his willingness to visit Riyadh to explore areas of common interest for collaboration.

Al Balawi highlighted the significance of capitalizing on the good relationship between the two nations, indicating a commitment to cooperation in various sectors.
