FEC Approves Management Contract for Abuja Bus Terminals

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) ratified a management contract for the newly constructed Abuja bus terminals, as announced by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), during an inspection of ongoing infrastructure projects. The contract, which exceeds the ministry's approval limit, is set to facilitate the full operation of the transport hub imminently.

Wike expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and noted that the access road to the Mabushi bus terminal is part of the project commissioned during President Bola Tinubu's third-year anniversary. He emphasized the importance of providing the best for the people of Abuja, stating that the city should be a benchmark for the country.

The management team is expected to finalize preparations to commence operations within the next two to three weeks. Additionally, Wike mentioned the upcoming People's Democratic Party (PDP) convention scheduled for March 29-30, ensuring that the event proceeds smoothly.
