Wike Commends FCDA for Progress on Abuja Projects

On Thursday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), praised the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and contractors for their significant progress on key infrastructure projects in Abuja. During his inspection, Wike expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work across several sites.

He specifically noted the nearing completion of newly built judicial quarters, which include 10 duplexes for the Federal High Court, 20 duplexes for the FCT High Court, and 10 duplexes for the Court of Appeal. These projects are scheduled for inauguration during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's third anniversary in office.

Wike also inspected the CN2 road project in Katampe, which is designed to improve traffic flow within the city. He commended the construction firm, China Geo-Engineering Corporation, for their commitment to the project, assuring that only four kilometers of asphalt work remain to be completed.

Wike emphasized the importance of maintaining a rigorous inspection schedule to ensure timely project delivery.
