FCC Urged to Ensure Fairness in Federal Job Recruitment

Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, called on the Federal Character Commission (FCC) to enhance mechanisms preventing manipulation in Federal Government job recruitment. In a statement from Osogbo, he emphasized the need for transparency and equal access to employment opportunities for qualified Nigerians.

Oyintiloye addressed Ayo Omidiran, the newly appointed Chairman of the FCC, urging her to maintain transparency and confront any intimidation during her tenure, which was entrusted by President Bola Tinubu. He highlighted the FCC's critical role in promoting equitable opportunity distribution and ensuring no region is unfairly disadvantaged.

Oyintiloye expressed optimism that under Omidiran's leadership, the FCC would adopt a merit-based approach to employment, moving away from old practices. He encouraged job seekers to engage with government recruitment processes, asserting that opportunities should not be influenced by connections or improper considerations.
