Federal workers plan football tourney in Gombe

Federal workers in Gombe are organizing a football tournament to promote unity and teamwork among employees from various government agencies. The competition will involve 106 teams from federal ministries, departments, agencies, as well as military and paramilitary institutions.

The Chairman of the Forum, Sadiq Ahmed, highlighted the importance of sports in keeping members physically fit and fostering a sense of unity. The event will also include basketball games and monthly road walks in the future.

The Sports Director of the Forum, Emmanuel Elesha Sobok, emphasized that the tournament could help discover hidden talents among participants. The initiative is expected to kick off by the end of the year in Gombe.
