Female CEOs Pledge Support for Tinubu's Re-election Efforts

On a recent visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman Nentaw Yilwatda, female CEOs of federal agencies, led by Abike Dabiri-Erewa of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election. The delegation, which included 37 women in strategic leadership positions, highlighted the significant contributions of women to national development and expressed solidarity with the APC leadership.

Dabiri-Erewa emphasized that women are the backbone of political mobilization in Nigeria, particularly at the grassroots level, despite facing challenges such as limited recognition and support within political structures. The group pledged to intensify efforts to mobilize grassroots support for the APC as the country approaches the 2027 elections.

They also called for greater gender balance in political appointments to ensure broader representation. Yilwatda commended the delegation for their leadership and contributions, stressing the importance of women's visibility and participation in political activities.
