FERA Slams PENGASSAN Over Alleged Fraudulent Claims Against Dangote Refinery

The Forum for Economic and Resource Analysis (FERA) has condemned the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) for what they describe as "fraudulent" allegations against the Dangote Refinery. PENGASSAN claimed the refinery replaced 800 Nigerian workers with undocumented Indian labor, but FERA's independent investigation found no evidence to support this.

FERA accused PENGASSAN's leaders of hypocrisy, citing their role in the collapse of public refineries in Nigeria. The group highlighted the Dangote Refinery's positive impact on job creation and breaking monopolies in the energy sector.

FERA criticized PENGASSAN for threatening to disrupt crude oil and gas supplies, labeling it as economic sabotage.
