Partial Closure of Ikorodu-Sagamu Road for Repairs

The Federal Ministry of Works has announced a partial closure of the Ikorodu-Sagamu road for reconstruction, as stated by Mr. Olayiwola Komolaf, a representative of the ministry.

This closure, which follows the directive of Minister Dave Umahi, is intended to facilitate the completion of ongoing reconstruction work by the contractor, Messrs Arab Contractors. The affected section of the road stretches from the Ikorodu roundabout to Sabo junction, including areas near Lagos Cement and Coca-Cola, towards Sagamu.

Traffic management measures will be implemented to divert vehicles through a constructed corridor with counterflow arrangements. These measures are designed to allow for the execution of work on the rigid pavement.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will oversee traffic management during this period. Mr.

Komolaf expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to road users due to the reconstruction work.
