FG Approves Court of Appeal Division in Ogun for Quicker Justice

The Federal Government approved the establishment of a Court of Appeal division in Abeokuta, Ogun State, as announced by Governor Dapo Abiodun. This decision was celebrated during a special church service marking the legal year in Abeokuta.

The new division aims to bring justice closer to the people, expedite case resolution, and alleviate the heavy caseload currently handled by the Ibadan Division of the Court of Appeal. Governor Abiodun emphasized the significance of justice in building a prosperous society, urging judicial officers to uphold fairness, impartiality, and courage.

The move is part of ongoing efforts to enhance access to justice, reduce case backlogs, and strengthen the integrity of the judicial system in Ogun State.
