Ex-Aviation Minister Arraigned on N5bn Corruption Charges

The Federal Government has arraigned former Aviation Minister, Senator Stella Oduah, in an FCT High Court on corruption charges totaling N5 billion. Oduah is accused of involvement in advanced fee fraud and conspiracy related to the misappropriation of funds from the Ministry of Aviation.

The charges include receiving over N1.6 billion through fraudulent claims. Oduah, along with one Gloria Odita, pleaded not guilty to the charges before Justice Hamza Muazu, who granted Oduah bail on self-recognition but restricted her from traveling outside the country without court permission.
