FG Enhances Business Infrastructure Under Tinubu's Leadership

Charl Odii, the Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), emphasized the federal government's dedication to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive nationwide. This statement was made during a work visit to Falcon Chemic Ltd in Ogun State on Saturday.

Odii noted that President Bola Tinubu's administration has taken significant steps to improve infrastructure and ease business operations, highlighting ongoing projects such as road construction and port expansion. The government has released 200 billion naira to support enterprise growth across the country, with grants aimed at nano, small, and medium enterprises.

However, Odii expressed concern over the low participation of potential beneficiaries in government intervention schemes, attributing this to a lack of trust in the system. He explained that registration with SMEDAN is crucial for accessing support.

Babatunde Adefarati, the Managing Director of Falcon Chemic Ltd, thanked Odii for the visit and discussed the company's potential to meet local demand and expand exports.
