Benue Governor Alia: No Forced Ranching by FG

Alia reiterated that the people of Benue have clearly expressed their stance against cattle ranching and that his administration is committed to protecting their interests and maintaining peace. He emphasized that his government is people-oriented and will not impose policies against the community's wishes.

Alia clarified that ranching should not be solely associated with cattle, as Benue has various livestock species that could be developed for economic opportunities. He encouraged residents to seek clarification before reacting to announcements and assured that no resident would be forced to accept policies contrary to the collective interest of the state.
