Nigeria Revamps Technical Education with Federal Technical Colleges' Rebranding!

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced a comprehensive overhaul of the Federal Science Technical Colleges (FSTCs), renaming them as Federal Technical Colleges. Starting from the upcoming academic session, the initiative aims to modernize technical education in Nigeria to meet global standards.

The rebranding and curriculum changes, introduced by Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa and Professor Suwaiba Sa'id Ahmad, will offer students a streamlined learning experience with updated trade courses.

The new structure will include subjects like Solar PV Installation, Garment Making, and Computer Hardware, aligning with current industry demands.
