FG embarks on tour of projects, citizens’ engagement in South East

The Federal Government has initiated a citizen engagement tour in the South East region, specifically in Enugu and Ebonyi States. The tour aims to showcase ongoing projects and directly interact with citizens.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, led the delegation which included officials from various government agencies and media organizations. The team met with executive influencers and members of the media in Enugu to explain the purpose of the tour.

The Minister highlighted the importance of gathering feedback from stakeholders and engaging with the local community. The tour will include visits to commissioned projects and Citizens Engagement Forums in both states.

The Minister commended the warm reception from Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State and expressed President Tinubu's goodwill towards the people of the South East.
