FG Reaffirms Commitment To Timely Completion Of Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway

The Federal Government has reiterated its dedication to the prompt completion of Section Three of the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway. Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, emphasized the importance of modern road infrastructure for economic development and citizen welfare during a visit to the project site.

The construction, being carried out by CGC Nigeria Limited, involves a 122 km dual carriageway valued at billions of Naira. With a significant portion already completed, work is ongoing to finish the remaining stretch.

Director of Highways Southeast, Engineer Tony Mbiko, confirmed the progress and highlighted the government's commitment to completing this strategic highway for the benefit of the nation. The project is part of a larger initiative to enhance transportation infrastructure in the South East region.
