Nigerian Government Launches Abuja Leadership Centre, Inaugurates 467 Projects

The Federal Government of Nigeria has initiated the construction of the Abuja Leadership Centre, alongside the inauguration of 467 projects across tertiary institutions nationwide. The event was led by Yakubu Gowon, the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Sonny Echono, and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Prof.

Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi. The project aims to enhance the quality of leadership in the country, with a focus on producing effective leaders to drive national development.

The Centre is expected to be a world-class facility equipped with top-quality furniture and equipment, including a conference hall and auditorium. Echono praised the leadership of the University of Abuja for their role in the project and pledged continued collaboration to realize the vision of the institution's founding fathers.
