Nigerian Government Launches LPG Outreach in South-East to Target One Million Homes

The Nigerian government has initiated a program to expand the use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the South-East region, aiming to reach one million households annually. The initiative, led by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, focuses on transitioning households from traditional fuels to LPG for clean cooking, health benefits, and environmental protection.

The program aligns with global sustainability goals and aims to reduce carbon emissions while supporting Nigeria's energy transition objectives. Imo State Government has been commended for its support in implementing the LPG distribution program.
