FG Launches Ease of Doing Business in Plateau State

The Federal Government of Nigeria launched the subnational Ease of Doing Business engagement in Plateau State, with a technical session and town hall meeting organized by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC). The event featured Princess Zahrah Audu, the Director General of PEBEC, who emphasized the importance of understanding the unique business environment in Plateau State.

The town hall meeting aimed to bring the subnational government closer to business operations, allowing for direct interaction between the private sector and government officials. During the session, a panel consisting of members from the Plateau State government addressed questions and concerns from the business community, focusing on policy formulation to improve the business climate.

Audu noted that the goal is to review and reform policies in Plateau State to facilitate easier business operations, acknowledging that each state has different challenges. This initiative is part of a broader effort to engage all 36 states by 2025.
