FG Reopens Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road for Eid Travel

The Federal Government has mandated the immediate reopening of sections of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano road to ease movement during the Eid al-Adha celebrations. This directive was issued by the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, who emphasized the need for safer and smoother journeys for commuters during the festive period.

The government has instructed the contractor handling the road project to open the affected sections without delay, following an accident that occurred earlier along the route. To ensure safety and maintain law and order, security agencies will be strategically deployed along the highway throughout the festive season.

This initiative aims to facilitate easier travel for citizens during the celebrations.
