FRSC Issues Traffic Advisory for Abuja-Kaduna Highway

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced a traffic diversion advisory for the Abuja-Kaduna highway, particularly affecting the Nasarawa-Azara axis, which is experiencing significant congestion due to increased travel for the Eid el-Kabir celebration and ongoing road construction work. The FRSC has urged motorists to exercise patience and strictly adhere to traffic regulations to mitigate the effects of the heavy traffic.

The situation has been exacerbated by indiscipline among drivers, leading to dangerous overtaking maneuvers. The FRSC has recommended alternative routes for motorists traveling between Kaduna and Abuja, specifically advising the use of the Kaduna-Kachia-Maraban-Kubacha-Jere-Bwari-Duts route.
