FG Collaborates with Creative Industry for National Unity

The Federal Government of Nigeria is partnering with the creative industry to strengthen security awareness and promote national unity. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, the Minister of Interior, highlighted this initiative during a courtesy visit from Emeka Rollas, the President of the Actor Guild of Nigeria, in Abuja.

The collaboration aims to enhance public enlightenment and advocacy efforts to counter misinformation regarding government programs and policies. Tunji Ojo commended Rollas on his re-election as President of the Guild and recognized the creative sector as a significant platform for driving positive social change.

He noted ongoing reforms within the Ministry of Interior, particularly in the correctional system, which has seen a dramatic drop in repeat offenders from 13,000 in 2023 to approximately 1,000 in 2025. The Minister also pointed out the government's focus on delivering practical solutions to longstanding challenges and urged Nigerians to embrace collective responsibility for building a peaceful and secure nation.
