Nigeria Reviews COVID-19 Gains, Plans for Future Health Threats

Temitope Ilori from NACA noted that lessons learned from the pandemic have improved Nigeria's ability to respond to emerging health threats, such as recent Ebola alerts. Dr.

Tajudeen Ibrahim from the Global Fund discussed the significance of COVID-19 grants, which facilitated substantial investments in health infrastructure, including oxygen generation systems and public health laboratory upgrades. The meeting underscored the necessity of integrating these investments into routine healthcare delivery to ensure long-term sustainability and improved health outcomes in Nigeria.
