FG Pledges Support For Retired Health Workers

The Federal Government has pledged its support for retired health workers, emphasizing that their wealth of experience remains valuable even in retirement. At a retirement ceremony organized by the Department of Hospital Services (DHS) of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in Abuja, Minister of State for Health, Iziaq Salako, highlighted the importance of retirees in the ministry and the nation.

Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Muhammad Ali Pate, praised the retirees for their contributions to healthcare and described them as pillars of health reform. The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Daju Kachollom, emphasized the historic significance of the event and the ministry's commitment to celebrating and engaging retirees.

The ministry reaffirmed its dedication to achieving universal health coverage and recognizing the valuable contributions of retirees in safeguarding welfare.
