FG Endorses Agbeyewa Farms for Agricultural Transformation

The Federal Government has identified Agbeyewa Farms in Ekiti State as a model for mechanized agricultural transformation in Nigeria. During a visit by Engr.

Cornelius Adebayo, Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), the company's large-scale cassava operations were inspected. Adebayo praised Agbeyewa Farms as a benchmark for agricultural excellence and a prime example of successful collaboration between the government and private sector.

He noted that with continued investment and support, Nigeria could become a global leader in commercial agriculture. NALDA's joint venture with Agbeyewa covers 5,000 hectares of farmland, with plans to expand by another 5,000 hectares.

Adebayo commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership in stimulating agricultural investment. Mr.

Seyi Aiyeleso, Managing Director of Agbeyewa Farms, expressed gratitude for the partnership, which aims to enhance food security and rural economic development across Nigeria.
