FG Urges Stakeholders to Tackle Youth Unemployment and Poverty Through YEIDEP

The Federal Government of Nigeria is urging stakeholders to address youth unemployment and poverty through the Youth Economic Intervention Deregulation Programme (YEIDEP). Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, emphasized the need to combat economic hardship, extremism, and crime by providing sustainable economic opportunities, particularly in agriculture.

Stakeholders were urged to take ownership of the YEIDEP rollout, with defined responsibilities and timelines for accountability. The initiative aims to empower young Nigerians for economic resilience and productivity.
